The source
Ryō Ariyama's story started as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2019 and moved to Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint. It finished with its sixth volume in November 2025, so the anime has a complete ending to adapt. The series has more than 550,000 copies in circulation. Ryō Kamito's manga adaptation runs on Mag Garden's Mag Comi and reached its third volume in August.
The premise: Romelia travels with her fiancé on his quest to defeat the Demon King, gets dismissed as useless and sent home, then turns her skills in trade, negotiation and intelligence into an army of her own. It is a logistics-and-strategy story rather than a sword-swinging one.
What's next
A split-cour gap of about three months is standard. Expect a new key visual and trailer for part two closer to spring. In the meantime, the spring 2027 anime guide tracks the rest of the April lineup.
