Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season, per Variety and Deadline, just over two weeks after season 3 launched on Oct. 22. Erin Foster's rom-com with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody is now one of the few Netflix live-action comedies to reach four seasons.
Quick answer
Nobody Wants This is renewed for season 4 at Netflix. Season 3 premiered Oct. 22, 2026, and The Hollywood Reporter says it delivered Netflix's biggest opening week for a returning comedy series this year. Stars: Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. No season 4 premiere date or episode count has been announced.
A fast renewal, again
This is the quickest kind of pickup. Netflix did not wait for a full viewing window: the order landed roughly two weeks into the season 3 run, which tells you the early numbers were strong. Deadline notes it is another speedy renewal for the show, and puts it in an elite group of Netflix live-action comedies that have run four or more seasons.
What a fourth season means
Four seasons of a rom-com is a long runway. The series follows a relationship built across very different worlds, and the hook of the early seasons was the will-they-won't-they. By season 4 the show has to live in the after: marriage, family, and what happens when the couple everyone rooted for has to be ordinary. Expect the writers to lean on the ensemble more, but nothing about story direction has been confirmed.
Where to watch
All seasons stream on Netflix. Season 4 has no date yet; given the recent turnaround between seasons, a 2027 return is plausible but that is our read, not an announcement. If you want more TV picks while you wait, see our review of The Greatest: Amazon's Muhammad Ali series.
