Naruki's shojo rom-com Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent (Megane, Tokidoki, Yankee-kun) is getting a TV anime in 2027, with a first teaser and the core staff now public. It's an early reveal for a title still building volumes, so consider this the ground floor.
The pitch
Momose wants a quiet high-school life and steers clear of troublemakers. Then she meets Ichikura — mild, bespectacled, apparently harmless — who turns out to have been a feared delinquent in middle school. He says he's changed, though he's still quick to throw hands. Whether he's genuinely reformed, and whether Momose keeps his secret, is the whole engine.
Who's making it
Makoto Hoshino directs at Studio Flad and Wao World, with Megumi Shimizu on series composition and Ruriko Watanabe on character designs. The source manga by Naruki has run in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend since January 2021 and reached 11 volumes by May 2026. No cast was announced with the teaser.
