Crunchyroll and Starz launched a bundle through Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. on July 29, 2026, priced at US$16.99 per month. It folds anime and Starz's film-and-TV library into one Prime Video Channels subscription — a notable move for anyone who watches both, and a useful reminder that "where to watch" is getting more tangled, not less.
Quick answer
The Crunchyroll + Starz bundle costs US$16.99/month through Amazon Prime Video Channels in the U.S., available now. It combines Crunchyroll's anime simulcast catalog with Starz's movies and series. For context, Starz alone runs US$11.99/month and Crunchyroll's standalone Ultimate Fan tier rose to US$17.99/month in February 2026 — so the bundle undercuts buying both separately. Crunchyroll's tiers (Fan, Mega Fan, Ultimate Fan) still govern features like offline viewing and simultaneous streams.
What you actually get
On the Crunchyroll side, the tier structure carries over: Fan removes ads and unlocks simulcasts at premiere; Mega Fan adds offline viewing, four simultaneous streams, and a 10% merch discount; Ultimate Fan bumps that to six streams, a 15% discount, and exclusive merch access. The Starz half brings its film and original-series catalog into the same Prime Video interface.
How to read it
This is the streaming-bundle era catching up to anime. For years the honest answer to "where do I watch X" was "Crunchyroll, probably" — now it's "Crunchyroll, unless it's a Netflix or Disney+ exclusive, and maybe cheaper in a bundle." That's exactly why SenpaiRanks lists platforms neutrally on every show page: we'll tell you a title is on Netflix when it is, and flag when a bundle changes the math. A flagship like Solo Leveling — which SenpaiRanks tracks at a 7.38 consensus — is the kind of Crunchyroll headliner this bundle is built to sell.
Worth it?
If you already pay for Crunchyroll Ultimate Fan and want Starz, US$16.99 is a straight discount. If you only watch anime, the standalone Crunchyroll tiers are still the cleaner buy. Either way, check what's actually exclusive before you subscribe — our where-to-watch tables exist so you don't pay twice for a show that's streaming somewhere you already have.
