Disney+ has dated the next chapter of its Twisted-Wonderland anime. Episode of Savanaclaw, the second season of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation, starts streaming on December 23, 2026, and runs eight episodes. Disney announced it on October 29 with a new key visual. Per Anime News Network, this is the middle chapter of a planned three-season run.
Quick answer
Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation – Episode of Savanaclaw premieres December 23, 2026, exclusively on Disney+, with 8 episodes. It's the second of three seasons adapting the official manga of Disney's smartphone game. Season 1, Episode of Heartslabyul (8 episodes), debuted on Disney+ in October 2025, and its English dub launched the same day on Disney+ and Hulu. Production is by Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with chief director Takahiro Natori and director Shin Katagai. SenpaiRanks tracks Season 2 on its anime page. Its ranking opens once episodes air and votes come in.
A new lead, and Leona's dorm
The big change is the protagonist. Fairouz Ai voices Yuuka Hirasaka, a high-schooler who's a serious judo competitor. On the way home from a tournament, a mysterious carriage pulls her into Twisted-Wonderland. Season 1 followed a different summoned outsider through the Queen of Hearts-themed Heartslabyul dorm. Season 2 moves to Savanaclaw, the Lion King-inspired dorm, and its returning game cast:
- Yūichirō Umehara as Leona Kingscholar, the dorm head
- Taito Ban as Jack Howl
- Aoi Ichikawa as Ruggie Bucchi
The rest of Night Raven College's game cast carries over, including Natsuki Hanae as Riddle and Noriaki Sugiyama as Grim.
Where to watch Twisted-Wonderland
Disney+ is the only legal stream for the anime worldwide. In the U.S., Season 1's English dub also streams on Hulu. Season 1 is eight episodes, so you can catch up in an evening before December 23. The franchise's stated order is Heartslabyul, then Savanaclaw, then Octavinelle (season 3, no date yet). Each season adapts one arc of the game's manga, so you don't need to have played the game.
Worth the slot?
If you came for the game's character designs and voice cast, yes: the anime keeps the game's actors and Takumi Ozawa, the game's composer, scores it. Season 1 is a faithful, compact adaptation more than a reinvention. It sits on our board without a meaningful score yet, so rate Episode of Heartslabyul if you've seen it.
