Rebuild World is back after more than three years with no news. On October 3, Kadokawa released the first key visual and main staff for the TV anime of Nahuse's post-apocalyptic light novels. It was first announced at Anime Expo in July 2023.

Who's making it
The studio is Raging Bull. Tsukasa Sakurai is chief director. He is also directing Because I, the True Saint, was Banished, that Country is Done For!, which premieres in January 2027. Shingo Uchida, an episode director on Attack on Titan season 3, Vinland Saga and After the Rain, directs the series. Naoki Tozuka (*I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince*) handles series composition, and Hiromi Katō (*Goblin Slayer II*) leads character design. The cast announced in 2023 is unchanged: Daiki Yamashita as Akira, Yurika Kubo as Alpha and Honoka Inoue as Sheryl.
The pitch
Civilization peaked and collapsed. Relic hunters now dig through the ruins of the "Old World" for technology nobody fully understands, dodging the security systems and bioweapons still guarding it. Akira is a starving slum orphan who becomes a hunter to get out, and he only survives because Alpha, a ghostly woman only he can see, needs a hunter and decides to train him. J-Novel Club publishes the novels and manga in English. There's no premiere date yet. If you like the setup, our light novel anime ranking and sci-fi board have similar shows that already have scores.
