The pitch The lead, a magic lender named Lent, repossesses the mana he loaned out on a "revolving payment" plan when borrowers stop paying — a debt-collection premise dressed up in fantasy mechanics. It started as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou and Kakuyomu in 2021 and picked up a manga run on Comic Meteor in 2023.

Behind the camera SynergySP animates, Takahiro Tamano directs, Ryuusuke Mori handles series composition, and Kazue Mori designs the characters. The score comes from Kow Otani — a notable get for a mid-card fantasy title.

Worth a slot? Fall 2026 is stacking up on the fantasy side, and a debt-collection hook is at least a fresher angle than the hundredth "reincarnated as the strongest" log line. Where it lands is an open question — and the honest read is the one we publish: SenpaiRanks tracks new fantasy entries on both Consensus and Quality, so a show can be broadly liked without holding up, or hold up without being a hit.
