Neon Genesis Evangelion is heading to Hard Rock Cafe. Per Anime News Network, citing Hard Rock Cafe Japan, PR Times and Comic Natalie, the first-ever collaboration between the two launches November 3, 2026, with Eva-branded merchandise at five locations.

The collaboration runs at the Tokyo, Ueno Station, Yokohama, Kyoto and Osaka Nanba Hard Rock Cafe locations. The lineup is merchandise rather than a themed menu:
- T-shirts in white, grey and black, plus jackets (sizes S–XXL)
- A hat, magnets and shot glasses
- Pins with city and character designs: Tokyo, Osaka, Asuka, Shinji, Rei and EVA Unit-01
- An exclusive collaboration bag with every purchase
Prices run from 1,980 yen to 9,570 yen (about US$13–$60). The campaign leans on the series' "hedgehog's dilemma" idea with a riff on Shinji's most famous line: Hard Rock Cafe "mustn't run away."
