TMS Entertainment announced that "Clash of the Red and Black," the fourth curated collection of Detective Conan episodes, starts streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll on November 1. It covers the arc where the FBI goes up against the Black Organization, and the arc has never had an English release in the West before.
What's in the drop
Per Anime News Network, the collection is named after the arc it covers: the FBI-vs-Black Organization storyline. As with the earlier collections, it streams in Japanese and with Studio Nano's new English dub, which is separate from the old Funimation and Bang Zoom! dubs. This is the fourth batch:
- "Conan vs. The Black Organization" — July 2025, expanded in August 2025
- "Rivals of the Great Detective" — November 2025, expanded January 1
- "FBI Intervention" — May 1, expanded August 1
- "Clash of the Red and Black" — November 1

Meanwhile, the 30th-anniversary special
The Japanese TV special The Counterfeit Crime Case of Ultra 30 got a lukewarm review from Anime News Network. The reviewer liked the unusual opening, where almost a third of the roughly 90-minute runtime explains how Japan prints its banknotes, but found the mystery itself thin. They also felt the many guest characters, Heiji included, add almost nothing to solving the case. Per ANN, it doesn't live up to the 30th anniversary.
The TV series holds 7.04 on SenpaiRanks. For the films, see our Detective Conan movies in order and the mystery anime ranking.
