DAN DA DAN now has a theme song for its Formula 1 collaboration. The Atlassian Williams F1 team and the franchise announced that Taiwanese TWICE member TZUYU is performing the song for their joint campaign, and she'll appear at the Singapore Grand Prix on October 11, 2026. The team introduced it as "Speed Meets Supernatural" in a September 28 video message from TZUYU.
Quick answer
DAN DA DAN (Science SARU, from Yukinobu Tatsu's manga) is partnered with the Atlassian Williams F1 team. How this happened
Williams and DAN DA DAN first announced the partnership in March 2026, describing it as part of the team's push to reach F1's newer, younger fans through online, in-person and retail tie-ins. The theme song is the first big piece of the campaign. ANN has the announcement but not a release date for the full track, so for now the video message is all there is.
The read
An F1 team licensing a shōnen anime, and then hiring a K-pop star to sing for it, shows how far DAN DA DAN has spread beyond anime audiences in two years. Music was already part of the appeal: season 1's opening, "Otonoke" by Creepy Nuts, went viral worldwide. For anime where music is the whole point, see our music anime ranking. For K-pop fans arriving through TZUYU, the anime is an easy start: 24 episodes over two seasons.
Catching up before season 3
Season 3 doesn't have a date beyond 2027. Our DAN DA DAN where-to-watch guide covers both seasons and the dub, and the show sits alongside its genre neighbours on the best sci-fi anime ranking.
