Iruma's going to the big screen. The DEVIL'S PARTY! 2 event on September 27 closed with a promo video confirming that Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun (*Mairimashita! Iruma-kun*) has its first film project in production — and it's telling a brand-new story, not re-cutting the TV arcs. The announcement landed one day after Season 4 aired its 24th and final episode.
Quick answer
The Iruma-kun movie was announced on September 27, 2026. It's an original story from the TV team behind four seasons at Bandai Namco Pictures, adapting Osamu Nishi's Weekly Shōnen Champion manga. No release date, title or studio credit has been announced yet; the reveal also flagged the manga's 10th anniversary in 2027, which is the obvious window to watch. All four TV seasons stream on Crunchyroll. According to SenpaiRanks, Season 2 is the franchise high point at an adjusted 7.84, and the just-finished Season 4 sits at 7.29.
The announcement video
It's a teaser, not a trailer — logo, celebration, the "new story" promise, and the anniversary tag. No plot, no cast list, no month.
Where the TV series left off
Season 4 premiered April 4, 2026 on NHK Educational and ran two cours, wrapping with episode 24 on September 26. Crunchyroll simulcast it across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS and India. Before that: Season 1 (October 2019, 23 episodes), Season 2 (April 2021) and Season 3 (October 2022), all on Crunchyroll with English dubs for the first three.

What to watch for
An original-story film usually means a self-contained adventure slotted between arcs, so it's unlikely to require the manga. Expect the next beat — title, key visual, season of release — around the 2027 anniversary. Until then, this fall has plenty to fill the slot: our fall 2026 premiere dates guide and what to watch this fall list every new show.
