The anime of SSS-Class Revival Hunter (*Shishite Ikiru SSS-kyuu Hunter*) has filled out its cast. A second promo video released on October 10 adds eight more voices and names the ending-theme artists ahead of the show's January 2027 debut on Fuji TV's +Ultra block.
Quick answer
SSS-Class Revival Hunter premieres in January 2027 on Fuji TV's +Ultra, and Crunchyroll streams it worldwide outside most of Asia. Hiroaki Sakurai directs at Studio fu, Sayuri Ōba writes the scripts and Takahiro Yoshimatsu designs the characters. Takeo Ōtsuka leads as Gongja Kim, and THE SPELLBOUND and Boom Boom Satellites perform the ending theme. It adapts Neida and Bill K's Korean webtoon, based on Sinnoa's web novel.

The new cast
The second wave fills out the Tower's top-ranked hunters, joining Takeo Ōtsuka (Gongja Kim) and Satoshi Hino (Sword Emperor):
- Toshiki Masuda as Flame Emperor
- Megumi Han as Witch of the Black Dragon
- Sayaka Kinoshita as Paladin
- Risa Shimizu as Countess
- Makoto Furukawa as Poisonous Viper
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Inquisitor
- Yuka Iguchi as Master Alchemist
- Shunsuke Sakuya as Blade Saint
Why the ending theme stands out
THE SPELLBOUND is the project Boom Boom Satellites' Michiyuki Nakano started after the duo's run ended, so pairing the two names on one credit is a nice nod for longtime fans. Their sound, heavy electronic rock, suits a story about a hunter who copies other people's skills by dying over and over.
The pitch
Gongja Kim has the weakest possible skill: when he dies, he comes back. Then he finds out that each death lets him copy the ability of whoever killed him, and he starts dying on purpose to climb the Tower. It's one of the bigger Naver webtoons in the dungeon-hunter boom that Solo Leveling kicked off. Yen Press publishes the English volumes.
