One-Punch Man is coming back sooner than a lot of fans expected. A new video released on October 10 confirmed that Season 3 Part 2 premieres in January 2027, picking up the Monster Association arc where the fall 2025 run left off.
Quick answer
One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 premieres in January 2027 in Japan. J.C. Staff animates again, with Shinpei Nagai directing and Tomohiro Suzuki handling series composition. JAM Project performs the new opening, "Never Done - SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR -". Part 1 streamed on Hulu in the U.S., Disney+ in Canada, and Netflix and Crunchyroll in Latin America and Oceania. The source is ONE and Yusuke Murata's manga. According to SenpaiRanks, the 2015 first season sits at 8.44, Season 2 at 7.57, and Season 3 Part 1 at 6.08.
The trailer
The teaser is short and mostly sells the music. JAM Project are back on the opening after teaming up with BABYMETAL on Part 1's "Get No Satisfied!", and the subtitle on the new track ("Supreme Power vs Ultimate Fear") points straight at the Saitama-vs-Garou showdown the arc has been building toward.
Same team, same questions
Almost the whole Part 1 staff returns. Character designer Chikashi Kubota is joined by Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryōsuke Shirakawa, Makoto Miyazaki composes again, and Yoshikazu Iwanami stays on sound. That continuity cuts both ways. Part 1 drew heavy criticism for its stiff action and reliance on still frames, which is why Season 3 Part 1 sits a full two points below Madhouse's original on our board. The extra time between halves is the best hope for cleaner fights in the arc's biggest moments.
