The official site for Devils' Crest, Production I.G's anime of Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara's Demons' Crest novels, released the show's second promotional video on Friday. The video previews singer-songwriter Soala's ending theme "ReaL" and introduces two new cast members. The series premieres worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on November 6, 2026.
The new cast
- Atsushi Tamaru as Shin Haizaki
- Ayumu Murase as Kakeru Niki
They join a main cast led by Haruka Shiraishi as Yuma Ashihara and Konomi Inagaki as his twin sister Sawa, with Yūya Hirose, Satomi Amano, Yūsuke Kobayashi, Maaya Uchida, Rie Murakawa and Sora Amamiya also in the cast. Ado sings the opening, "Shinka."
The setup
A new VRMMORPG called Actual Magic traps an entire class of sixth graders inside a life-or-death game. Eleven-year-old Yuma's only real weapon is the demon Valac, who has possessed his twin sister. It's Kawahara returning to the trapped-in-a-game idea that made him famous, with much younger protagonists and a horror edge. Yen Press publishes the novels in English.
